Death of the Ego

The door slammed as he walked away. (And there she sat in her disgrace) Another cycle. Another fit. At the end of the day they were both lit. The clouds are dancing. She lives alone. Another temptation has been overthrown. There is no balance. There is no light. All that’s left is another fight. This time it’s ending. He swears he's done. She pulls the trigger to his gun.
